Eight Lands:
Spirits branding and packaging design

A new spirits brand and packaging design for the organic Speyside distillery.

Brand creation for a new ‘all-organic’ distillery based in Speyside, Scotland. Nestled at the foot of Ben Rinnes and drawing water from its own natural spring. Premium gin and vodka are distilled using barley and wheat harvested on the Glenrinnes farm and infused with botanicals grown and foraged on the estate.

Challenge—

Made of Scotland:
Organic gin and vodka made of a place, made of a people.

We created a brand representing Eight Lands’ sustainable approach and the relationship between people and place. Working with the land. Giving more than they take. Treading lightly for future generations. We brought this concept to life with the infinity loop, flanked by woodcut illustrations of Ben Rinnes. Where from the summit – on a clear day – you can look out over the eight surrounding counties.

Solution—

The land shapes the people.
The people shape the land.

Following a successful launch, Eight Lands scooped every award in the book. They’re in premium trade and retail nationwide and internationally with partnerships in Asia, Canada and the US.

Closer to home, the distillery continues to provide employment for the local community and brings visitors and tourism to the area with their tours and tasting events.
